Office of Leadership Development

Rick Wheeler, director of the Office of Leadership development, has served the Florida Baptist Convention since 2003.

Wheeler develops strategies and programming resources that will provide a comprehensive and intentional approach to biblical servant leadership development.

As a part of the Church Development Team, the purpose of the Office of Leadership Development is to advance the understanding, development and practice of servant leadership resulting in life transformation here and abroad.  Their desire is to link like-minded church leaders through leadership development conferences, coaching and resources. Their vision is to come along side busy ministry leaders and champion their goal of impacting this generation with the gospel of Christ by resourcing their professional and volunteer leadership development needs.
