This office is responsible for planning, conducting and evaluating the Convention’s financial assistance programs to churches; providing consultation to churches experiencing catastrophic events; coordinating property preservation for continued Kingdom use.

This office works with the Church Site Committee and the Loans Committee of the State Board of Missions to provide loans to churches for acquiring property, construction, repairs, or renovations. The following types of loans are available to cooperating Southern Baptist churches in Florida:
Church-Site Interest-Free Loans are provided to assist in the purchase of a first site for a new church or mission. It provides assistance with up to 100% of the purchase price of the property, with a maximum loan amount of $100,000, to be repaid on a graduated payment schedule, over a 12 year period. New Work Revolving Loans are provided to assist in the construction or purchase of the first unit building for a new church or mission. It provides funds of up to $250,000, at the interest rate currently approved by the State Board of Missions (see loan guidelines for current rate), amortized over 20 years following the first year of interest only payments. Church Loans are provided to assist older, established churches with renovation, repairs, and other needs. It provides funds of up to $150,000, amortized over 15 years at the interest rate currently approved by the State Board of Missions (see loan guidelines for current rate).
