The staff at Lake Yale is committed to bringing together facilities necessary for your comfort and the support required for the success of your conference, retreat or camp. Let us assist you in achieving your most memorable retreat experience ever.

Your Conference
Whether large or small, your conference will be held in one the finest, modern, air-conditioned facilities available in a rural setting. The Maguire Auditorium seats 1,000 persons comfortably. The auditorium has both a modern sound system and video projection system, as well as a full size theatrical stage. The moveable chairs permits flexibility in the seating set-up or other multi-purpose uses of the auditorium. Each of the Maguire Auditorium's two connecting multipurpose buildings contains conference rooms with sliding partitions seating from 50 to 200 persons per room.

A separate Conference Building contains a smaller auditorium for 300 persons, and 17 conference rooms, each seating between 50-80 persons. The moveable chairs permits flexibility in the seating set-up or other multi-purpose uses of this auditorium. Up-to-date audio and video systems are provided to enhance communication and learning.

Worship experiences can be planned in large or small groups inside the buildings, outside by the picturesque lake, under the spacious live oak trees, in the central gazebo, or next to the fragrant rose gardens.

Comfort and Convenience
The success of any conference or retreat can be affected in part by the comfort and convenience of the meeting facilities. Lake Yale offers accommodations and food services that contribute to your group's comfort and enjoyment.

A spacious cafeteria can comfortably seat up to 600 persons and is designed for your dining pleasure. Expect satisfying, sumptuous meals, or plan special meals, banquets, receptions and refreshments for specific occasions. A variety of meal plans and menus for ethnic and culturally diverse groups are available upon request.

Air-conditioned, motel-type housing offers comfortable accommodations for 425 persons. Room assignments can be made for singles and doubles, although that will affect both the person cost and the total available sleeping rooms. Rooms are modern, fully furnished, with daily linen service provided, and conveniently located close to all conference facilities.

Special arrangements for functionally impaired persons and other special needs may also be made.

Your Retreat
The 289 well-kept acres, nestled in a naturally beautiful setting of towering live oak trees, along the shores of placid Lake Yale, provide an ideal retreat setting. Facilities for sporting activities such as swimming (in an outdoor pool), basketball, volleyball, softball, tennis and fishing are available to your group members. Hiking trails and a golfers' driving area also are available on the Lake Yale property. A Fellowship Hall with snack bar and bookstore offers indoor fellowship and relaxation. Lounge by the fireplace, watch TV, or chat with a friend in a warm, Christ-centered atmosphere.

Off-site Excursions
Your group may want to consider off-site excursions as a part of your meeting's activities. The nearby quaint village of Mount Dora, Orlando's theme parks, Daytona Beach, The Ocala National Forest, Silver Springs, several state parks, and other attractions are conveniently located within one hour's driving time from Lake Yale.

Rustic Camping Facilities
Lake Yale offers two youth camp facilities located a short distance from the main conference center facilities. Each camp is equipped to house 250 persons in 16 cabins. Each cabin is air-conditioned, equipped with bunk beds and has central lavatory facilities. In addition, there are four conference buildings, a staff house and a canteen. Other air-conditioned facilities include an administration/clinic building, cafeteria and a chapel.

Recreation facilities include a softball field, multi-purpose field, volleyball court, basketball court, as well as beach and dock areas at the lake. A short walk away is the outdoor swimming pool that provides clean and crystal-clear water activities. An amphitheater and bonfire site are scenically located by the lake as well.

Campers always seem to be hungry. Well-planned, well-prepared, delicious and nutritious meals can keep group members well fed and ready for the day's activities. The intercom system keeps you in touch with your campers day and night, and the modern sound systems in the chapel and cafeteria provide the means for announcements and exciting programs.

The Facility
Blue Springs Baptist Conference Center can help bring people together for meetings, retreats and worship experiences. The 125-acre campus provides the type of seclusion that ensures a perfect setting for quiet walks, intimate discussions and meditation.

The meeting facilities include 21 small group meeting rooms capable of seating between 35-80 persons each, plus a 400-seat auditorium. All the meeting rooms and the auditorium have moveable seating to permit flexibility in room set-up. The auditorium has an up-to-date audio and video system and ample display space.

Covered walkways connect all buildings to provide a comfortable, convenient setting for your conference. Most importantly, a caring, courteous staff is available and committed to meeting your needs.

Comfort and Convenience
Modern motel-type accommodations for 220 persons are available. Room assignments can be made for singles and doubles, although that will affect the cost per person and the total available sleeping rooms. All rooms are air-conditioned and fully furnished, with daily linen service provided. You may also make special arrangements for functionally impaired persons and other special needs.

A spacious cafeteria provides seating for 300 persons and is conveniently located next to the auditorium and conference meeting rooms. Meeting planners may select from an extensive menu list of delicious and nourishing meals. Options include the fexibility of planning a banquet, reception or refreshment services.

Located between the cafeteria and the auditorium is a snack bar, lounge area and small bookstore.

Recreation Resources
Groups and their members have access to a variety of active sports including volleyball, basketball and softball. An in-ground swimming pool provides opportunities for exercise and leisure water activities. A lake adjacent to the assembly grounds affords opportunities from canoeing and fishing to quiet walks around the lake, observing nature, or just enjoying God's creation in a peaceful, relaxed setting.

Rustic Camping Facilities
Youth or adult groups may use a youth camp on the Blue Springs Baptist Conference Center property, that is separate from the main adult facility. The youth camp houses 185 persons in 12 cabins divided into three units. Additional facilities include a staff/administration building, a cafeteria, chapel, five conference rooms and a canteen. All buildings are fully air-conditioned.

Basketball and volleyball courts, a softball field, an activities field, hiking trails, a swimming pool, as well as a beach and dock at the lake, offer plenty of optional recreational activities.

The amphitheatre by the lake offers a picturesque setting for campfires, sunrise services and other special worship/devotional options.

An outstanding food service provides meals that are nutritious, appetizing and appealing to hungry campers. Our courteous staff is always available to assist you in making your group's camp experience a positive one.
