TCY: Tutoring Children and Youth

Begin a church-based ministry for tutoring children and youth to share the love of Jesus.

Make an impact for Christ by tutoring school-aged children and youth in an after school ministry.

• Over 300,000 students drop out of high school each year.

• Over 35 percent of fourth graders read below their grade level.

• Over 25 percent of eighth graders read below their grade level.

Learn how to create opportunities to share the gospel; organize a church-based literacy missions outreach ministry; locate students; and learn teaching techniques through a sixteen-hour workshop.
