 Suggested Observance: September, 2007 “And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues and preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom and healing every infirmity. When He saw the crowds, He had compassion for them because they were scattered and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.” Matthew 9:35-36

When Jesus looked at the crowds, He saw individuals, not numbers. However, numbers can help us grasp the growing needs of the Florida mission field. As Florida Baptists begin to turn their attention to the 2007 Maguire State Mission Offering, please be in prayer that the goal of $1,372,000 can be reached so that men and women, boys and girls can be touched with the life-changing gospel message. And that we, too, will see the Florida mission field through the eyes of Jesus.
2007 Recipients: church site loans for new churches; migrant ministries, refugee resettlement, church based health ministries, jail and prison ministries, disaster relief, and church revitalization; mission camps; collegiate world missions; mission partnerships in Haiti, Cuba and the Amazon River Basin; and pastoral salary assistance in partnership states.
