Using a questionairre for the pastor and 30 key lay leaders within the church, each of the 8 quality characteristics listed below are scored and then anaylized for Natural Church Development (NCD). The basic idea for the NCD program is that a church is unable to grow any further than their lowest scored characteristic. By identifying and improving in this area a church is able to begin growing again.

Natural Church Development is available to all Florida Baptist churches, which will work closely with Roy Lee Saint, associate director of the Discipleship and Family Department, as they go through the program process.
