Ministry Assistants/Secretaries
The Florida Baptist Convention offers a training and certification for persons serving as secretaries or ministry assistants in local churches, associations and state offices.
The following events are available to Ministry Assistants to develop their professional, spiritual and personal lives. For more information on these events, click on the Association name.

Santa Fe River Association – September 26, 2008
Regional events are held annually. One Module of the Professional Certification is offered each year, along with two afternoon breakout conferences. For more information on regional events, click on the location.
Royal Palm Association – October 6, 2008
A Statewide Ministry Assistants training event will be held at Lake Yale Baptist Conference Center on Aug. 11-13. For more information on this retreat, or to register online, click here.

How Long Should We Keep Church Records? (pdf)
The Discipleship and Family Department assists church leaders in their continuing task of equipping members for Christian discipleship by training them in new member orientation, leader development, doctrinal instruction, church history, constitution and by-laws, church staff job descriptions and church polity. This area of work also offers assistance with church recreation and drama, media libraries, Bible drills, health and fitness, and other personal growth support ministries.
