Deliverymen, repairmen offer opportunities for gospel presentations

This continues a series of articles written by my friend Sumner Wemp. I am reprinting them because I could not have said it better. I hope they bless you as much as they do me.

A 65-year-old gentleman delivered some flowers to our house. I thanked him and graciously offered him a gospel tract. He told me he had just started teaching a Sunday School class and was doing all the good he could so he could go to heaven.

The EvangeCube works ... I used the EvangeCube to present him the gospel, the good news, that God loved us and Christ suffered and died for our sins, paid our debt in full, rose again, was seen by hundreds so God could forgive our sins and take us to heaven. It was beautiful to see God open his eyes so he saw that his good works would never pay for his sins. He bowed his head and prayed to receive the Lord Jesus as his Savior.

His face radiated ... When we finished he looked up and his face just glowed. He thanked me at least five times for telling him how to be saved and how he could know for sure he was going to heaven. Then he capped it off by saying, "God sent me to you today so you could tell me how to know for sure I was saved." Doesn't God just amaze you to see how He works to get people to heaven?

My joy ... It has been my joy to see scores receive Christ in our yard, at our door and in our house as I shared the gospel clearly and convincingly with sales people and repairmen.
