Because of the rapid growth in the number of new churches in Haiti, many projects will combine leadership training and crusades. Training is needed at the most basic level for pastoral ministry, deacons, and Sunday School teachers and leaders. The crusades are designed to reach out to the community with the gospel of Christ. They are very popular and well-attended.

MISSION GUEST HOUSE/PORT-AU-PRINCE
If your church is interested in taking a trip to Haiti and is seeking lodging accommodations, the Florida Baptist Convention Guest House in Port-au-Prince houses 55-100 people comfortable and is ideal for volunteer ministry groups.

To reserve one of the projects for you or your church, please send a letter of commitment to the project and a check for $300 to the Florida Baptist Convention, Partnership Missions department. This deposit is non-refundable and will be applied to your in-country expenses. The project will not be reserved until both the letter and deposit are received in our office.
HA2012-01—CHILD EVANGELISM, MEN AND WOMEN CONFERENCE – West Association: Jan. 14-19. A team of 8 will concentrate their efforts in leading a women’s and men’s conference in Croix-des-Bouquet and child evangelism/soccer clinic in Thomazeau. Cost is $600, plus airfare. Filled by First Baptist Church, Aurantia.
HA2012-02—EVANGELISM AND LEADERSHIP TRAINING – North Association: March 3-9. A team of 8 to teach pastors and church leaders in how to administer and lead church; and lead a revival for a local church in the evening. Cost is $1030, plus airfare.
HA2012-03—CHILD EVANGELISM, WOMEN’S CONFERENCE, AND NEW BELIEVERS’ DISCIPLESHIP TRAINING – Northwest Association: March 12-16. A team of 8 to lead conferences on child evangelism, for women, and discipling new believers; providing leadership for evangelistic meetings in a local church. Cost is $1220, plus airfare. Filled by The Island Chapel.
HA2012-04—WOMEN’S CONFERENCE, DISCIPLESHIP TRAINING, AND PASTOR TRAINING – South Association: March 17-23. A team of 8 will work in churches in the area around Cayes, leading a women’s conference, teaching discipleship and sermon preparation conferences and leading evangelistic meetings at night. Cost is $926, plus airfare.
HA2012-05—MEDICAL EVANGELISM – Artibonite Association: March 17-25. A team of 25-30 will provide a medical clinic in St Marc; staffed by medical and non-medical volunteers, and promote the crusade and witness to those who come for medical attention. In the evening, they will provide the leadership for the crusade. Cost is $1320, plus airfare. Filled by GHO, but open to individuals.
HA2012-06—EVANGELISM – Central Association: March 19-23. A team of 8-10 will assist local churches in the Hinche area to reach their community for Christ and strengthen their church. During the day, the team will conduct a VBS; child evangelism with the children and each evening lead revivals. Cost is $665, plus airfare. Filled by First Baptist, Royal Palm Beach.
HA2012-07—EVANGELISM AND MEDICAL – Northwest Association: June 30-July 6. A team of 8-10 will assist local churches in the Port de Paix area to reach their community for Christ and strengthen their church. During the day, the team will do a medical clinic as a means to witness for Christ and lead an evangelistic meeting in the local church at night. Cost is $1220, plus airfare.
HA2012-08—EVANGELISM TRAINING – North Association: July 7-13.
A team of 8 will work with churches in Cap Haitian to train youth leaders, conduct conference on evangelism; and lead an evangelistic revival at a local church at night. Cost is $1030, plus airfare.
HA2012-09—LEADERSHIP TRAINING AND EVANGELISM – South Association: July 7-13. A team of 8-12 will work in churches in the Nippes area; leading leadership training for pastor/leaders, Sunday School, discipleship, and ladies conference; and holding evangelistic meetings at night. Cost is $926, plus airfare.
HA2012-10—EVANGELISM AND LEADERSHIP TRAINING – Artibonite Association: July 7-14. A team of 8 will work in St Marc, leading conferences for women, pastors on administration and pastoral leadership, and youth. In the evening, evangelistic meetings will be lead in a local church. Cost is $1141, plus airfare.
HA2012-11—MEDICAL EVANGELISM AND LEADERSHIP TRAINING – Central Association: July 7-14. A team of 10-15 will assist local churches in the Hinche area to reach their community for Christ and strengthen their church. During the day, the team will travel to a different church approximately 1 hour from Hinche to do a medical clinic as a means to witness for Christ; and provide leadership training an evangelistic meetings in local churches.
