The Florida Baptist Convention offers a training and certification for persons serving as secretaries or ministry assistants in local churches, associations and state offices.

How Long Should We Keep Church Records? (PDF)

The Leadership and Life Development Department assists church leaders in their continuing task of equipping members for Christian discipleship by training them in new member orientation, leader development, doctrinal instruction, church history, constitution and by-laws, church staff job descriptions and church polity. This area of work also offers assistance with church recreation and drama, media libraries, Bible drills, health and fitness, and other personal growth support ministries.
