ESL: English As A Second Language



Teach English as a second language to internationals from all over the world. Meet a need, build a relationship and share the love and truth of Jesus.

• Nearly 20,000 foreign-born refugees and immigrants move to Florida annually—more than any other state.
  
• There are 4,500,000 foreign-born persons living in Florida.
  
• Each Sunday 22 languages are spoken in Florida Baptist congregations across the state.
  
• Over 600 Florida Baptist churches, or 22 percent of all Florida Baptist churches, worship in a language other than English.

In the English as a Second Language Workshop, learn to share the gospel while teaching someone to speak English.
