State Board of Missions

The State Board of Missions is the governing board of directors of the Florida Baptist Convention corporation. The State Board of Missions was incorporated as the "Florida Baptist Convention" in 1899. This Board is responsible for implementing the decisions of the Florida Baptist State Convention and serves as the State Convention ad-interim between annual State Convention meetings each November.

          (Orientation for New Board Members — Feb. 2, 2011 – 7 p.m.)

    (3)  *Sept. 22-23, 2011 — Lake Yale Baptist Conference Center, Leesburg

    (4)  Nov. 14, 2011 (Pre-Convention Meeting – 2 p.m.) — Fort Lauderdale

    (5)  Nov. 15, 2011 (Organizational Meeting – 5 p.m.) — Fort Lauderdale

*Committee meetings are held on Thursday and the full Board meets on Friday from 8:45 a.m. until approximately 12:00 noon. Board members will be notified of their committee assignment prior to the February meeting.
