Annual Meeting: Messenger Registration

1. Pre-register Online:

Each cooperating Florida Baptist church or mission is permitted to send at least three elected messengers to the annual meeting of the Florida Baptist State Convention. For the first time in the State Convention’s history a pre-registration process will be available. This process will be facilitated on-line and will be available from September 8 until 12 midnight November 5, 2009. Church staff who prefer to pre-register their church’s messengers can go to http://ebc.flbaptist.org. Following the step-by-step process, the messenger’s registration document should be printed and given to the respective church member. This document must be brought to the State Convention registration desk to be located in the foyer of the Olive Baptist Church.

A special information flier will be sent to each church in September.  The flier contains instructions for online registration and will provide the two required pieces of information to access the pre-registration website page: a username and a unique password.

2. Order Messenger Cards:

Church leadership that prefer not to use the online pre-registration process can still secure messenger registration cards. To secure messenger cards, call 1-800-226-8584, ext. 3151.

Once the cards are received at the church the moderator or clerk must sign and date the card. This card is to be given to the respective messenger. This completed card must be brought to the State Convention registration desk to be located in the foyer of the Olive Baptist Church, Pensacola.

Completing the Process: 

The registration area will open beginning from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, November 8; from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, November 9; and from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, November 10.  Messengers must bring the computer-generated document or the printed messenger card to the State Convention registration desk to be located in the foyer of the Olive Baptist Church, Pensacola.
